DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Traffic alert for those heading out on their morning commute on Wednesday.
A part of Leesville Road in Durham County is shut down after a large fallen tree landed on the roadway.
The obstruction is between Crested Iris Place and Ashcliff Lane, according to the Durham County Sheriff’s Office.
The road is expected to be closed during the morning commute, so deputies urge drivers to avoid the area.
It’s unknown at this time when the road will fully reopen.
